We are officially MOVING!

Just wanted to let everyone know that i may not be around for a while...we are officially moving this weekend...heading to Nashville and packing up our house there. Although i've been waiting and praying for this for 7 months (gah, can you believe it??) i am sad in a weird way to officially be closing that chapter of our lives.

Anyway, my life is about to get crazy and i may not know where much is, so i don't know when i'll return to the blogging world.

But when i do...pics of the new finished Waco house to come!! We are so excited about how it's come out, God, you are so good!!!

Hugs to you all!

Ok, many of you have asked for the monster cookie recipe...here ya go. Get ready to become addicted to these bad boys. :) hee hee...

Eggs, Sugar, Margarine, Vanilla, Baking Soda, Brown Sugar, Peanut Butter, Oats, Chocolate Chips, M&Ms (batter will be thick and heavy, so you may have to use your hands to mix)

Easter Family Time...with lots of cookies.

So this Easter weekend was prolly one of the most laid back weekends we'll have for a while....our next couple of weeks are going to be nuts as we head to Nashville, and then move into our place here...but we're excited & ready!! :)

Until then, we have TONS of monster cookie dough to get us through. :)
Here is my cutie patootie sissy with Josh and Jack...Jack was very helpful in making the cookies...as was Josh, he did the hard work of stirring all that dough.
OK, i know this may look nasty, but monster cookies are the best ever! They have all my faves: chocolate chips, peanut butter, m&ms, oats...yummo!
This is as close to a family Easter pic that we got this year...sad huh?

This boy was lovin this...and all the other sweets he had this weekend.

It was a wonderful holiday weekend with family, and great time to again, reflect and remember the amazing sacrifice my Lord and Father made for me so I could live. Thank you my Lord!

"Don't Make Mommy Cry!"

....those were the words that came out of Jackson's mouth this weekend when Josh lost a bet and had to shave his head after a softball game at church this past weekend. The game was between Youth/Children's Ministry workers vs. the College/Adult Ministry workers. The youth team lost, thus, here is a scary sad picture of the man I am waking up to every morning:

While they were shaving his head, Jackson says, "Don't make mommy cry!" hee hee. He also said this weekend, "I don't want the bald man to come get me!" Poor lil guy, he is so confused. This morning he said to daddy's head, "grow hair, grow!" :)

Eww..All I gotta say is that hair better grow back! I think he is MUCH cuter with hair. :)

Cousin Simon comes to stay

Jackson's cousin Simon came to stay with us last week because Aunt Amber was having her baby!

Jackson and Simon had the best time together...ahhh! Made me want a sibling for Jackson all the more! Jackson was so sweet to Simon and helped him with things, led him around the house, held his hand...hilarious and so so precious! Here are a few pics of them together, it was super fun! Congrats Matt and Amber, so excited for baby Phoebe's arrival and loved getting to have Simon, he was a doll and such a great, sweet lil guy. We miss him around here!

Here, Jackson is modeling his superhero cape...his new thing. :)
